This dog is over the moon for its owner.
NASA astronaut Christina Koch posted a heartwarming video of her reunion with beloved pooch LBD — which stands for Little Brown Dog — after spending 11 months in space.
“Hi baby girl! Hi baby girl!” Koch, 41, says as she gets down on her knees to pet and play with the excited pup.
“Not sure who was more excited,” Koch posted with the video. “Glad she remembers me after a year!”
The tweet quickly went viral — earning more than 35,000 likes and almost 5,000 retweets.
Even the official NASA account chimed in on the cute video with a GIF image of an astronaut gesturing a heart shape.
“To see your favorite animal is a symbol of coming back to the people and places you love,” Koch said during a press conference Thursday, CNN reported.
Koch, who was a part of the first all-female spacewalk and set the record for the longest space flight by a woman, recently returned home after spending 328 days off Earth.
The spacewalker also made news of sharing devastating images of the Australian bushfires as seen from the International Space Station.
“Australia. Our hearts and thoughts are with you,” Koch wrote on Twitter at the time.
