Heart-stopping video shows the moment a driver begs a man — apparently on the brink of suicide on the Brooklyn Bridge — to “Turn around, bro!” in a desperate bid that likely saved his life.
The clip, taken during Monday’s snowstorm just after noon, shows the would-be jumper standing on top of the bridge’s beams and looking down as heavy traffic streams below.
“Boss, walk back! It’s not worth your life! Get off the bridge!” a motorist shouts, as the hooded man appears to turn toward the camera.
“You can change anything in your life!” the driver continues to yell. “Anything! It’s not worth it! Turn around, bro!”
The 50-second recording ends with the 24-year-old man turning around and crossing a catwalk.
Shortly after, he was taken into custody by police and a civilian and transported to Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital for treatment, an NYPD spokeswoman confirmed.
Police described him as emotionally disturbed.
The driver, who couldn’t immediately comment when reached by The Post, said he knew he couldn’t pass by without saying something.
“I knew it was the right thing to do, give this man my help, and I’m grateful I saved a life,” he told ViralHog.
