It’s not easy being a Philadelphia Flyers fan.
The team, mired in a 44-year-long Stanley Cup drought, is aiming to give its supporters a place to take out their frustrations.
The Flyers added a “rage room” to the Wells Fargo Center, where folks can smash everyday objects with hockey sticks, bats and sledgehammers. Some of the items available for breaking “might even bear the logo of an opposing team,” according to the team.
Fans can book time in the first-ever rage room in a sports venue in the US, which opens on Wednesday.
The Flyers haven’t made the playoffs in four of the last eight seasons.
