A transgender prostitute was abducted and robbed at gunpoint in the Bronx by two male johns, one whose wife had been texting the woman, police sources said.

The incident unfolded when the victim thought she was meeting one man inside a black SUV near Unionport Road and Metropolitan Oval about 4:30 p.m. Nov. 19, for a rendezvous at a nearby hotel, sources said.

But when she got inside the vehicle, another man, who she’s had past sexual encounters with, was waiting there with a gun, sources said.

The armed man took the prostitute’s cellphone and bound her hands and feet with zip ties, cops said.

He was seeking to obtain texts from the prostitute’s phone between his wife and her, but couldn’t access them, sources said.

The men drove the woman to a Boost Mobile store in Yonkers to try to unlock the phone.

The SUV used in the abduction.

The woman managed to flee at the store, cops said. She suffered lacerations to her knee and hands, but refused medical attention.

The men later fled in the SUV and are still at large, cops said.

It’s not clear what the text messages said and it’s unclear if they were retrieved.
